The over bath screen Durovin B06 is a 2-fold (bifold) over-bath shower screen: it uses two hinged glass panels rather than a single fixed panel. The two panels are connected by a central hinge, and the entire assembly is fixed to the wall via a vertical wall profile. When showering, both panels fold outward over the bath. When the bath is used without the shower, both panels fold completely back against the wall — reducing from 1,200mm to approximately 600mm projection, keeping the bathroom open and accessible.

This shower screen features an innovative bi-fold mechanism. The foldable design allows you to adjust the screen angle freely, two glass panels of equal width (each approximately 600mm) connected at their meeting edges by a central hinge, with the outer panel fixed to the wall via a vertical aluminium wall profile.

Both panels extend outward over the bath rim, creating a continuous 1,200mm glass wall spanning the bath length. The wall-fixed panel is rigid; the outer panel is held at 180° (fully open / flat in line with the inner panel). In this position the screen provides full splash containment across the bath.

Measuring 1200mm in total width, this screen provides significantly more coverage than standard single-panel screens. This extended span is engineered to contain water spray more effectively, keeping your bathroom floor bone-dry and safe, even with high-pressure shower heads.

Because bath dimensions and rim thicknesses vary between manufacturers, a fixed-width screen would not align correctly on many installations. The B06's wall profile incorporates an adjustment slot that allows the effective screen span to be set between 1,185mm and 1,210mm during installation — a 25mm tolerance range that covers variation across standard UK bath models.

Installation Requirements — B06 2-Fold Bath Screen

Wall fixing:

The vertical wall profile fixes to the wall adjacent to the bath end — the wall must be solid (tiled masonry, brick, block, or concrete) or a studwork partition with timber noggins at profile fixing points
Do not fix the wall profile into plasterboard or tile adhesive alone — the profile carries the full dynamic load of both glass panels (approximately 15–20kg combined glass weight) and must be anchored into a structural substrate
Use the supplied wall anchors or appropriate fixings for your wall type; for tiled walls, use a tile/masonry drill bit to avoid cracking tiles at fixing points

Sealing:

Apply a continuous bead of sanitary-grade (mould-resistant) silicone sealant along the full length of the wall profile where it contacts the wall and along the bath rim where the screen base rests — this is the primary water seal preventing leakage behind the screen and under the bath rim
Allow a minimum 24 hours for silicone to cure before first use

Bath rim compatibility:
