You can choose the exact size of both your shower door and your side panel, with the door having eleven options to choose from ranging from 800mm to 1200mm, and the side panel having four options ranging from 750mm to 1000mm. This makes for forty-four unique options for your Ravenna 4 Shower Enclosure, so you can choose the very best one to fit into your bathroom.

8mm Safety Glass

Another important detail to make note of, regarding size, is that our Ravenna 4 is made of 8mm of safety glass. This 8mm ensures the toughened safety glass can withstand the accidental application of weight. Namely, if you slip in the shower and fall. Our showers go through numerous tests, including 50kg Double Tire Impact Tests and 80kg Dummy Impact Tests, that ensure they are truly safe.

NANO Glass Coating

Our shower enclosures also come with NANO Glass Coating which makes the glass even more hygienic by causing the water to bead. This makes the glass much easier to clean and prevents build up and smears that you can get with uncoated glass.

L Shape Shower Enclosure

The Ravenna 4 also features a L Shaped Shower Design. This means it is made of two pieces that connect to the walls to complete the shower enclosure. That means that while the final installed shower enclosure is the shape of a square, the glass elements of the shower enclosure are an “L” shape. This is beneficial because it means you can finally make use of the dead space in your corner. Corner shower enclosures like this are perfect ways of saving space and squeezing luxury into small areas in ways other shower enclosures just can’t.

Frameless Shower Enclosure

Installation Overview

Tools required: Electric drill, spirit level, silicone sealant gun, measuring tape, pencil

Step-by-step process:

Mark wall channels: Using a spirit level, mark vertical fixing positions for both wall channels (door side and side panel side). Ensure a 90° angle between channels — use a builder's square.
Drill and plug: Drill into wall at marked positions. Use appropriate fixings for wall type: stainless steel masonry plugs and screws for tiled solid walls; cavity fixings for plasterboard/stud walls.
Fix wall channels: Secure aluminium wall channels with supplied screws. Check vertical alignment with a spirit level.
Fit side panel: Slide fixed side panel glass into the wall channel. Secure with provided clips or clamps.
Hang door: Mount door pivot hinges into the wall channel. Hang the door and adjust hinge tension to ensure a smooth 90° opening arc without drift.
Fit seals: Apply magnetic or rubber seal strips to door edges where the door meets the side panel and where it meets the wall channel.
Silicone: Apply neutral-cure silicone sealant (not acetoxy/acid-cure — will damage aluminium) to all wall-to-channel joints. Smooth with a wetted finger and allow 24 hours to cure before use.
Test: Open and close the door through 10 full cycles, checking seal contact and door alignment. Adjust hinge tension if required.

Recommendation: Installation by a certificated plumber or bathroom fitter is recommended. Structural fixing into tiled surfaces requires appropriate drill bits (diamond-tipped for porcelain, carbide for ceramic) and careful drilling to avoid tile fracture.

Our Nano Coated Glassware range is fully hand finished; due to this process the finished items can occasionally have slight imperfections within the finished product which can appear as a mark or bubble. This is nothing to worry about but we are on hand to help, if the issue can be viewed from 2m in natural lighting then we are more than happy to discuss the options to best suit your needs.

Avoid placing shower heads in such a way that water hits vulnerable areas, like the seams between the glass or hinged side of the door. Water rushing against these parts causes wet floor and leakage.
